It is with deep regret that we announce 82 year old Mairwen’s peaceful passing on Sunday, 21st December last, at Withybush Hospital following a short illness.
She was the devoted wife of her surviving husband, David, for 53+ years, mother of Miranda, Julian and the late Wynne Jones. Sister to Iris Rogers (Goodwick) and the late Jean Reynolds (Hayscastle). Mairwen was also a grandmother of five and a great-grandmother who was the respected matriarch that guided the whole family.
Having no substitute, she is an extreme loss for her worshipping family.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, 14th January 2026 at the Chapel of Rest, Feidr Castell, Fishguard at 1pm, followed by interment at Hermon Chapel Cemetery.
